This is a New Phase record label... Essential to the content of our music was that the artists performed live for many of the tracks; and so in come the warmth and freshness of a live performance; as reproduced on disc by State Capital Records.

If the above passage sounds somewhat familiar, thats because it is an adapted version of the note on the reverse side of the the Beatles' 1970 masterpiece, "Let It Be." We here at State Capital Records strive to look to the future of how you enjoy music as a listener, be it with your iPod or your favorite blog, while not forgetting the legacy of past artist's work that so many of us have been able to enjoy and absorb via the miracle of the recorded sound. It is in fact that synthesis that continues to keep the art form fresh.

We believe that as long as there are artist that strive to create something special and personal for themselves, they will inadvertently continue to create something that will become special and personal to all of us that still love music for all the right reasons. We know who you are and you know who you are. No amount of over saturation, product placement or corporateization can ever lessen the value or brilliance of your New favorite Band.
